Decoration contest set for Dec. 10

The Village Garden Club’s annual Christmas decoration contest judging will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Dec. 10 for residents and businesses in the Town of Amherst. The rain date is Dec. 15.

The categories this year are traditional, most festive, most original, outdoor trees and doorway or porch decorations.

Homes and businesses are eligible for first-, second- or third-place awards.

The Amherst New Era-Progress will photograph some of the entrants, and winners will be listed in the newspaper.
