- Credit card fraud, North Wooduck Drive, June 25: Unauthorized charges were made on a credit card.
- Credit card fraud, Dulwhich Drive, June 11: Unauthorized charges were made on an account.
- Petit larceny, Harrison Creek Road, June 29: A title to a vehicle and a spare tire were taken from a parked car.
- Petit larceny, Perkin’s Mill Road, June 22: A set of keys, a pack of cigarettes and a package of chicken and steak were taken from a residence.
- Petit larceny, Old Wright Shop Road, June 25: A set of license plates were taken from a vehicle.
- Property damage, South Amherst Highway, June 26: A window was broken out of a residence.
- Shoplifting, Amelon Square, June 26: A male hid and removed five packages of steaks from Food Lion.
- Property damage, Harris Road, June 28: A parked car was keyed.
- Shoplifting, Madison Square, June 27: An Amherst man was charged with taking several articles of clothing from Wal-Mart.
- Shoplifting, Madison Square, June 27: A Lynchburg woman was charged with taking clothing from Wal-Mart.
- Shoplifting, Madison Square, June 24: An Arrington man was charged with taking auto parts from Wal-Mart.
- Credit card theft, South Hillcrest Drive, June 5: A credit card was used without permission.
- Grand larceny, John’s Creek Road, June 26: A toolbox on wheels and a large number of hand tools were taken from a residence.
- Malicious wounding, Bubba Lane, June 27: A 24-year-old resident of Bubba Lane in Madison Heights was arrested for his involvement in a fight at the Thomas Road Trailer Park in which another man was wounded with a knife. The victim was treated and released at Lynchburg General Hospital.
- Attempted robbery, Madison Square, June 28: A woman reported that a white female in her early 20s with blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail who weighed 100 to 105 pounds and with a large nose grabbed her purse and tried to pull it from her shoulder. The suspect fled in a small teal car.
- Petit larceny, Madison Square, June 25: An 18-year-old resident of Woodrow Avenue in Monroe was charged with shoplifting a shirt.
- Unauthorized use of motor vehicle, North Amherst Highway, June 29: A blue 1995 Cheverolet Silverado pickup truck was taken without the owner’s permission.
- Grand larceny, Gidsville Road, June 28: A Pioneer CD player, an amplifier and set of speakers were taken from a parked car.
- Embezzlement, South Amherst Highway, June 21: Cash was taken from a Sheetz station.
- Grand larceny, Panther Falls Road, June 28: Three duffle bags with sports clothing, wallets, credit cards, cell phones, a silver digital camera, an iPod and a Sony digital camera were taken from a camping site in the Panther Falls area of the George Washington and Jefferson national forests.
- Grand larceny, West Perch Road, June 30: A 2,000-pound shop and machine tool with a flywheel grinder was taken from a residence. The device is used to true automotive blocks and heads.
- Petit larceny, Hampshire Drive, July 1: A box of checks was taken from a residence.
- Property damage, Old Wright Shop Road, June 30: A front door lock was damaged.
