An elderly Pittsylvania County man was injured when a tractor rolled over him Tuesday afternoon.
At about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, emergency officials were called to the 1600 block of Emory Road, according to a news release from Pittsylvania County Sheriff Mike Taylor.
“An elderly gentleman was working on a farm tractor when the engine engaged and rolled over him,” Taylor said.
The man was airlifted to a Roanoke hospital. His condition was not immediately known.
