Notes from Amherst coach Ronda Heema:
Hannah Burley is our leading scorer with 17 goals so far for the season, and she has three hat tricks. She has a powerful shot and knows how to find the back of the net.
A.C. Campbell, a senior captain, has four goals and three assists, and she has been crucial to the offense in moving the ball and making crosses and being there to feed the ball to the other forwards.
Four key players have helped make the defense stronger.
Grace Tschetter, Jenni Bost, Ashley Scott, a senior captain, and Chelsea Long work very well together and know how to clear thse ball out of the defensive zone.
McKinney, the goalkeeper, has 45 saves for the season, and the other goalkeeper, Kayla Martin, has 34 saves. They both are very quick on their feet and with their hands.
